Nile divides Luxor into two parts, east bank and west bank, in this tour we will visit the east bank of Luxor ,where we will see Karnak and Luxor temples, Karnak is the biggest temple in Egypt, it is not one temple but many temples were built from 2000BC till 300AD,dedicated to three gods ,Amun,Mut,and Khonsu,karnak is arabic word means the protected village, while Luxor temple was built by King Amenhotep III,the two temples were connected by a Sphinx avenue about 2,8 km long ,contain about 1200 Sphinxes.
I will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to go to visit Karnak temple, there was a canal conect karnak temples with The Nile , the first thing we will see in front of the temple is the harbor then the ram-head sphinx avenue, then we will enter through the pylon, the two high walls which are flanking the entrance ,then we will get lost in the hypostyle hall which contains 134 columns ,then we will drive to luxor temple,where we will see the Famous sphinx avenue which was joining between the two temples karnak and Luxor temples ,we will see the name of Alexander the great on the walls of the sanctuary which was built by him.then we will be back to our hotel.
